What is the difference between virtual sessions and in-home support?
Virtual sessions offer expert guidance, education, and problem‑solving from the comfort of your home. They’re ideal for families who want clarity, strategies, and personalized support without needing someone physically present. In‑home support is more hands‑on and allows for real‑time observation, newborn care, and practical assistance. Not all services require in‑home care, and many families find virtual sessions just as effective for learning, planning, and troubleshooting.
How do I know which service is right for me?
If you’re preparing for a newborn, navigating postpartum recovery, adjusting routines, or seeking clarity around behavior or development, any of the virtual sessions or in-home packages will meet your needs. If you want ongoing support or expect to have multiple questions over time, the Three‑Session Support Bundle is a great fit. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out — I’m happy to guide you toward the best option for your family.
What is the difference between the Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula packages?
A Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) focuses primarily on the newborn — their care, feeding, sleep foundations, routines, and developmental needs. This support is highly educational and skill‑based, giving parents confidence in the day‑to‑day care of their baby. It’s ideal for families who want expert newborn guidance, structure, and clarity during the early weeks. A Postpartum Doula (PPD) focuses on the entire family, including the birthing parent’s emotional and physical recovery. A postpartum doula may assist with newborn care, but the primary focus is the well‑being of the birthing parent and the family as a whole, not hands‑on newborn management.
Can I combine different types of sessions in the three-session bundle?
Yes. You can mix and match any of the 60‑minute virtual sessions — newborn care, postpartum support, parent coaching, Montessori home guidance, or caregiver mentoring. This flexibility allows you to get the support you need as your family’s needs evolve.
Do you offer support for twins or multiples?
Yes. I have extensive specialized training and hands‑on experience with twins, triplets, and higher‑order multiples. Whether you need newborn care foundations, feeding support, sleep guidance, or help establishing routines, your session will be tailored to the unique needs of your family.
Do you offer ongoing or long-term support?
Absolutely. Many families choose to work together across multiple stages. You can book sessions individually or choose the Three‑Session Support Bundle for continued guidance at a reduced rate. Additional follow‑up options and add‑ons are available depending on your goals.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer the time to another family. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.
Can both parents and caregivers join the virtual session?
Yes. Partners, co‑parents, caregivers, or anyone involved in your child’s care are welcome to join. Sessions are most effective when everyone supporting the child feels informed and aligned.
Do you accept HSA/FSA payments?
Many families are able to use HSA/FSA funds for postpartum and newborn‑related services; however, I accept private payment only. If your provider allows reimbursement, I’m happy to provide an itemized receipt you can submit on your own.
Are your services inclusive of all family structures?
Yes. All families are welcome — including single parents, LGBTQ+ families, blended families, adoptive families, surrogacy journeys, and chosen families. My work is rooted in respect, inclusivity, and evidence‑based care for every parent and child.
